Okay, anybody want to fill the new girl in? So far all I know is that I'm in a different dimension and I'm partnered up with a dog who is scarily similar to my best friend back home.

...Yeah, that probably would help wouldn't it? Guess I'm doing things a little backwards here. My name is Kate Todd; I'm a special agent with NCIS, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

And if anyone could help me out with a way home, that would be great too. Gibbs is already pissed off enough as it is without adding my disappearance to it.

And the least this "Digital God" could have done is dropped me off in civilization instead of the middle of a jungle.

It could be worse...I was dropped in the middle of a sports game. Thrown around and confused, and then I got arrested.

Oh um...well there's Neon City which is very nice, lots of bright lights and people if you like that sort of thing, then there's Junk City which is more um...industrial. Axoryi which is kind of like a tropical island, and then Tetha which is like a small town in the countryside. But I'm afraid those are the only places I've had alot of experience with.

Probably most of them, there's alot of crime in the digital world.

There's also DATS, kind of like a citizen army or volunteer police force. As best I can tell they accept anyone.

Well, there's no easy way to say this, so I'll get it out of the way now. Getting home when you want to is impossible, from what we can tell. I'm sorry, but that's pretty much just the way it is. If you're lucky, Yggdrasil will get bored of you pretty quickly and send you back home.

Or you could be stuck here for years. No one knows till it happens.
